Conservatory Outlet’s 235 mile challenge for chari
A group from Conservatory Outlet, the bolt-on brand for small to medium sized companies looking to add or increase sales in conservatories, has completed a demanding bike ride in aid of charity and raised nearly £7,000. Eight riders took part in the four day cycle ride which covered 235 miles and started at Conservatory Outlet dealer Evalast Windows in Barrow-in-Furness. The group also visited Conservatory Outlet dealers West Yorkshire Windows, Orion Windows, Visual Effect and Weatherglaze Windows before crossing the finishing line at Prime Windows in Sheffield.
The aim of the ride was to raise money for the UK-based charity Health and Education for All (HEAL), a charity closely associated with Conservatory Outlet. HEAL helps orphaned and underprivileged children in India gain essential skills and education as well as providing safe homes and healthcare. The group included Usha Koneru, who is the wife of HEAL’s founder Dr Koneru Satya Prasad. The group covered an average of sixty miles a day riding through some of the country’s most beautiful scenery. Conservatory Outlet’s Managing Director Matthew Glover comments: “This bike ride proved to be a challenge and was great fun. Parts of the route were gruelling but everybody who started crossed the finishing line. The money raised is in addition to the £12,800 we raised at our annual Charity Ball in September.”
